| The Nationals get back to their winning ways behind the phenom, Stephen Strasburg, who went 7 innings and struck out 10 en route to his 4th win. The story of the game though is the major league debut of another phenom, 2010 first overall draft pick Bryce Harper. Harper made his presence known early by throwing out a runner at the plate from left in the 1st inning, then hit an RBI double in his first at bat and scored on a single from the next batter. Harper walked in the third and scored another run, singled in the 5th, then struck out in his last two at bats. Jayson Werth, Adam Laroche, Roger Bernadina, Wilson Ramos and Strasburg each also had 2 hits, and Ian Desmond cracked a 3-run bomb in the Nats' 6-run 2nd. |
