October 10, 2012: Diamondbacks 4 Reds 1 (Diamondbacks win series, 3-1)

The Arizona Diamondbacks are the first team to punch their ticket to the League Championship Series with a 4-1 win over the Reds. Paul Goldschmidt reached base 4 times with two singles and two walks, and he also scored 2 runs and knocked one in. Goldschmidt has led the team all series and is the obvious choice for series MVP. The Diamondbacks will enjoy a few extra days off and await the winner of the Nationals-Phillies series.
