October 5, 2012: Phillies win NL wild card game, 3-2 over Braves

The Phillies made the right choice holding Cliff Lee back from the final game of the season, as he proves far more valuable leading them to victory in the NL wild card game to send them to a showdown with their division rival Washington Nationals. The Phillies did it today with the longball - their 3 runs came on a solo shot from Ryan Howard in the 2nd, and a 2-run shot from Chase Utley in the 3rd. Jonathan Papelbon earned 6 outs for the save.
