October 11, 2012: Phillies 5 Nationals 2 (series tied, 2-2)

The Nationals should have saved some of those runs from game 3. Cliff Lee goes just 5 innings for the Phillies, but he leaves with a 3-1 lead and the Phillies go on to the 5-3 win to even up the series. Michael Martinez got a rare start in place of Jimmy Rollins, and he made it count with a 2-run double to give the Phillies the lead in the 6th. The Nationals were sloppy with four wild pitches in the game.

It will be Gio Gonzalez of the Nats against Roy Halladay of the Phillies in game 5 for the chance to face the Diamondbacks in the next round. Although both teams had a better record than the DBacks, the DBacks would get home field against the wild card Phillies if the Phillies can move on.
