October 7, 2012: Reds 4 Diamondbacks 3 (series tied, 1-1)

The Reds tie up their division series with the Diamondbacks behind a quality start from Bronson Arroyo and 2 big bombs from Ryan Ludwick. Ludwick knocked in himself in the 2nd and 2 in the 4th, and Arroyo got in on the action with a homer of his own in the 5th that would account for the deciding run.

Ryan Ludwick smashed 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the Cincinnati Reds outscored
the Arizona Diamondbacks 4 to 3.
 
Ludwick led the offense for Cincinnati.  He delivered a solo blast in the 2nd
inning and lifted one out of the park for a two run home run in the 4th
inning.  Arizona had 10 hits in the game while Cincinnati had 7, but
Cincinnati had the more timely hits.  
 
The victory was credited to Bronson Arroyo(1-0) who went 6 innings, allowing 3
runs. Aroldis Chapman gained credit for his 1st save.  Wade Miley(0-1) ended
up with the loss.  He served up 3 homeruns in his 7 innings.
